At Stratford Heights we believe in reaching out to our city & community with the love of Jesus Christ. Matthew 25:35-40 is our mandate and our heart for the hurting & lost in our community; “‘For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ ‘

We are excited to offer you many outreach opportunities with more on the way. You can get involved by tapping the link above and filling out the form and one of our ministry directors will connect with you about getting involved.

Shalom

SHALOM came into existence to offer shelter, nourishment and night time lodging to the homeless of Middletown at a time when it was feared that the city’s only homeless shelter would be forced to close. SHALOM is an acronym which stands for Serving the Homeless with Alternate Lodging Of Middletown.

We will be partnering with Shalom February 11 – 17 by housing and serving the homeless in our community. You can help by volunteering to serve one evening or by donating food items. Below are links to sign-up to serve or what food items you would like to donate.

*There are many options beyond what is on the link to serve, if you want to serve, we will find a place for you to serve, please email Holly Jackson
